Southwest Florida Golf Benefit

On Monday, October 16, 2023, the Pelican Preserve Golf Club, 9802 Pelican Preserve Blvd., Fort Myers, FL 33913, will host the inaugural Southwest Florida Golf Outing to benefit the Marine Corps – Law Enforcement Foundation (MC-LEF). MC-LEF currently establishes a $35,000 educational account for every child who loses a parent serving on active duty in the United States Marine Corps and Federal Law Enforcement.

Since its founding in 1995, MC-LEF has awarded over $90 million in educational accounts and other humanitarian assistance to over 4,700 recipients. United States Secret Service families have been awarded over $700,000 within the last five years. Recently, with the assistance of USSSA and the Cincinnati Field Office, the foundation provided two scholarships to the surviving children of one of our fallen heroes.

I am reaching out to you for your help and assistance. There are various levels of participation and support:

  1. Special sponsorship and individual golf hole sponsorships
  2. Donating items to be placed in our golfer’s gift bags (over 120 golfers)
  3. Golfer foursome and individual players

The Club at Pelican Preserve will provide a day of four-star golf, including lunch and several course competitions such as Hole-in-One, Nearest-to-the-Pin, Straightest and Longest Drive, and the Best Team Play competition. Participant prizes include vacation accommodations, sports and golfer travel destination packages, golfers’ accessories, and Krank golf clubs. Registration and breakfast begin at 7:30 a.m. with ceremonies proceeding the 9 a.m. shotgun start in a scramble format.
